I am married to a woman from Japan and am worried that she may take my son and hightail it back to the country where she was born and raised. I have blocked the U.S. passport issue, but Japan will not give me any information if a passport was issued in my son's name via my wife. Can you please give me some direction? I'm monitoring everything best I can.

The plight of Western women who marry men in my country and then wish to divorce are severe. Physically, spiritually, and emotionally they are trapped. But perhaps what is most treacherous on the soul is to see or know of a foreign woman coming to my country in hope of seeing her children born in her country, but taken here without her permission or knowledge. Of course she will never see the children. It is not the way here. But the heart has principle too. One day this must change. In the name of our good children, yes one day this will change.
